When it comes to Anfernee Hardaway’s signature line, no shoe embodied his “Penny” persona more than the “Copper” Air Foamposite One reissue in 2010. The design took the penny inspiration further than ever, outfitted in a metallic copper Foamposite shell, complete with classic black nubuck detailing and a traditional translucent sole. Now celebrating the model’s 20th anniversary, this retro rendition returns in true form, complete with the classic copper finish recognized by many.
To follow up on the recent Nike Air Foamposite Pro Vachetta Tan, the silhouette’s next rendition is draped in metallic silver, which is somewhat reflective of another Fantastic Four-inspired theme with the “Silver Surfer”, as last year featured a revival of the Dr. Doom.
Priced at $250, you can purchase this variation at select Nike retailers starting Friday, March 17th.
