Air Jordan 7 “Charcoal/Raptors”

Originally introduced back in 1992 when Michael Jordan wore the OG colorway during his second championship run against the Portland Trailblazers, this iconic sneaker has made its way onto the shelves of retailers with slight variations over the years including its “Raptors” release in 2002 and again in 2009. As both “Charcoal” and “Raptors” terms are used interchangeably to describe ultimately the same shoe, fans of the shoe can expect to see an official “Black/True Red-Dark Charcoal-Club Purple” colorway. These shoes will release on September 1st for $160.

Nike LeBron 9 Low “Liverpool”

Here’s another interesting color-way for the LeBron 9 Low series. The color is labeled action red/black-white-new green. Followers of lebron may already know where this color-way came from, but for the people who don’t. This is the colorway of the soccer team that lebron is part owner of, which is Liverpool FC. They’re were a few changes from the earlier pictures released but still a great eye catcher. There also was a release date of september 1st for these but nike lifted the release date and they are available now for $150.

Madden 13

EA Sports’ Madden NFL 13 has gotten off to a hot start. Electronic Arts announced today that the newest gridiron football simulator, which launched Tuesday, sold 900,000 copies during its first 24 hours for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  This marks a 7 percent rise over last year’s version, and represents the most successful Madden launch this console generation. Wow, that’s huge and from my personal experience with the game this is the best one yet thanks to the new physics engine EA has came up with. Great Job EA Sports.

Nike Air Max Speed Turf “Dolphins”

Today Nike reaches back into their archives and bring back another classic shoe in best colorway in my opinion. The Nike Air Max Speed Turf “Dolphins” release today for the first time since its original release in 1995 and i’m pretty sure they’ll go fast. It seems like the nike sportswear team has paid attention to the fans request for this shoe and i’m glad they did. I know i’ve tweeted too many times for this shoe to come back but i guess timing is everything. Hopefully i’m able to get my hands on a pair of my favorites. Retail price for these will be $135.

London Olympics 2012

I’m about a week late on posting something on the Olympics but I’m pretty sure most people have kept up with what’s going on or have seen the major highlights. From 16-yr. old Gabby Douglas being the first African-American to win the gold medal for all-around performance as well winning the gold medal on the team competition with the rest of the fab five. With Michael Phelps going out as the best swimmer ever and the most decorated Olympian with 22 medals. Out of those 22 medals, 18 are gold medals which is another record. Will these records ever be broken again? Who knows, but the torch has definitely been passed to good hands. The event to watch for this weekend will be the finals in track and field. Will usain bolt uphold his title or will his teammate Yohan Blake take over? Or maybe Tyson Gay will bring the gold home. A table for the medal count as of today is shown below!

Air Jordan Retro 4 “Fire Red”

Today marks the return of the most popular jordans and in an OG colorway. The “fire red” air jordan retro  4 will release today. The last time this shoe released was in 2006 with a slight change. I don’t know if a lot of the new sneakerheads even noticed but in 2006 they were nicknamed the mars edition because a laser image of the character known as mars blackmon was was included on the shoes. The price was little lower then too at a $115 price tag, how about that lol. Now they’ll cost you $160 this time around. This pair is also is one of my favorites behind the very popular retro 11.
