Air Jordan XII “Playoffs”

Saturday, April 21st, marks the return of a popular Air Jordan XII color-way known as the “playoffs”. The last time this particular color-way released was in 2004, before all the “new” sneakerheads came around and only retailed for $135, WOW! That’s a big difference from the $160 price tag they have this time around but they’ll still sell out. Do you plan on getting a pair? Do you feel that the hype causes the prices to go up or the fact that the companies see how the buyers are going after the shoes and are going to sell out regardless?

To give a little background on this shoe. The first time the “playoff” color-way was seen was when Michael Jordan helped the Chicago Bulls win their 5th NBA Championship. The shoe released in 1997 and had a retail of $140.
